Struck from 5 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver, the reverse depicts a mature goat, young goat and baby goat peacefully grazing beneath a plum blossom tree. Known as “Three Goats Bring Bliss”, the design represents the end of winter, the arrival of spring, renewal and prosperous new beginnings.

The design also incorporates the Chinese character for ‘Goat’, the inscription GOAT 2027 and The Perth Mint’s distinctive ‘P’ mintmark.

The Goat is the eighth animal in the Chinese zodiac and is traditionally associated with qualities including gentleness, creativity and compassion. The 2027 release continues The Perth Mint’s long-running Lunar Series, which is popular with both bullion collectors and those born under the Goat zodiac sign.
