The 2026 Perth Mint DUNE 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin brings the extraordinary world of DUNE to life in a striking collectible release inspired by the acclaimed science fiction franchise. Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, this officially licensed coin celebrates the epic storytelling, iconic imagery and mysterious desert world created by Frank Herbert.

Set on the dangerous desert planet of Arrakis, DUNE follows Paul Atreides on a remarkable journey shaped by destiny, political conflict and the struggle for control of the universe’s most precious resource. Adapted from Frank Herbert’s award-winning novel, the franchise has captivated audiences with its expansive world-building and cinematic vision.

The coin’s coloured reverse features the Emperor’s grand ship and imperial tent against the sweeping desert landscape of Arrakis. In the foreground is Muad’Dib, the desert mouse revered by the Fremen for its adaptability and spiritual significance. The design also incorporates the iconic DUNE logo and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The vibrant coloured finish brings the distinctive landscape and imagery of Arrakis to life, making this release an appealing addition for fans of the films, science fiction enthusiasts and collectors of officially licensed movie memorabilia.

Struck by The Perth Mint, the coin has a strictly limited mintage of just 3,000 worldwide. Combining precious metal with a recognisable cinematic theme, it offers a distinctive way to celebrate one of science fiction’s most celebrated universes.

The coin is presented in an FSC-certified cork display case featuring the official DUNE logo and comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an illustrated outer shipper.

A striking tribute to the world of Arrakis, the 2026 Perth Mint DUNE 1oz Silver Coloured Coin combines fine silver, detailed colour artwork and limited-edition appeal in a memorable collectible for DUNE fans and coin collectors alike.
