The Germania Mint Germania Beasts: Sleipnir 2 x 1oz Silver Bullion Coins bring one of the most extraordinary creatures from Germanic mythology to life in an impressive two-coin set.

Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged steed of Odin, is a symbol of divine speed, limitless power and journeys between worlds. According to mythology, Sleipnir was born from Loki and the mighty stallion Svaðilfari before becoming Odin’s loyal mount, capable of travelling effortlessly between the nine worlds.

Designed by Natalia Danysz, the two-part design creates a striking representation of Sleipnir in motion. The obverse features the majestic head and powerful front section of the mythical steed, with four legs visible to emphasise its strength and dynamic movement. The reverse completes the scene with Sleipnir’s remaining four legs, highlighting his extraordinary eight-legged anatomy as he gallops between worlds.

The reverse also features the double-headed eagle of Germania Mint, adding a distinctive element to the design.

Each coin is struck from 1 Troy oz of .9999 fine silver in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality. Our offering includes two 1oz coins, presented together in a specially designed dual infinity capsule, allowing the two halves of the Sleipnir design to be displayed side by side.
